Helen lives in South Devon.
In 2022 she was selected as one of the emerging writers in the South West by Literature Works.
She has an MA with distinction in Creative Writing from Exeter University and is a member of Moor Poets.
Apart from her writing Helen enjoys sea swimming and coastal walking with her black Lab, Tess (completing the South West Coast path in 2021).
Before poetry, Helen worked as a teacher and an equality policy officer for local government, the Greater London Authority and Citizens Advice.
Born in Bristol, Helen has lived across the UK in Hull, the Midlands and London.
